Description:Applicant will become a member of a sales team that has been formed with the primary purpose of promoting the sales of the company?s new ?Meteor/Active Cell? technology for wastewater treatment plant upgrades with emphasis on nutrient removal. The successful applicant will work closely with our own sales team and our various representatives to produce technical and commercial proposals.They will be encouraged to support this effort through personal presentations and visits to engineers and local authorities. Further support will be required through the attendance of regional and national conferences and exhibitions and they will be encouraged to participate by writing and presenting papers on various aspects of the technologies we offer. Responsibilities: ? Using developed and established market contacts, assist in the development and execution of the strategic business plan for growth of the product line. ? Support the IFAS/MBBR sales plan to grow sales and profitability. ? Direct and support the activities in making sales calls, presentations, piloting, proposals, bid activities and contract negotiations. ? Will include assessing the compatibility of bid specifications with the product capabilities, estimation of the scope of the job, and coordinate the submission of valid proposals in a timely manner. ? Coordinate with all internal resources (within the group and the Business Unit) in establishing/maintaining equipment standards and cost efficiency. ? Work with the Biological Group Champion and Product Business Director to resolve problems. ? Recommend improvements in products and processes. ? Work directly with the Regional Business Managers to promote and bid IFAS/MBBR technology. ? Participate in trade organizations that will offer valuable insight into potential business and competitive products. Education: B.S. Degree (Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering, Biological, Chemistry curriculum) preferred with 3+ years in progressively successful technical sales positions in the water/wastewater industry with specific experience in aeration and biological processes. Candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong customer service orientation skills, be a problem solver, ability to learn, planning and organization, flexibility.
