The Energy, Environment and Water Research Center (EEWRC) is the first research center of the Cyprus Institute (CyI). The Center is rapidly becoming an important research resource for the Eastern Mediterranean, Middle East and North Africa addressing energy, environment and water issues and is being established in close collaboration with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
