General Manager Position

The Upper Trinity Groundwater Conservation District, which is located in Hood, Parker, Wise, and Montague Counties, is accepting applications for a General Manager. The General Manager functions as the general administrative agent responsible for the implementation of policies, plans, and rules approved by the District’s Board of Directors to meet objectives for the protection, management and conservation of groundwater. Duties include data collection, hydrologic and environmental analysis, water supply planning, regional water planning, budget and policy development, management of District staff, and interactions with the public, water users, and elected officials. Degree from an accredited four-year college or university with a major in Natural Sciences, Engineering, Business, Public Administration or related field with a strong background in business and office management desired. Experience in budget and policy development for governmental agencies recommended. Salary range commensurate with degree and experience.
