The LVVWD provides water to more than one million people in Southern Nevada and is one of seven member agencies that make up the SNWA, an agency that addresses Southern Nevada?s unique water needs on a regional basis.

The Springs Preserve is a 180-acre family attraction, featuring museums, galleries and gardens that convey a message of sustainable living in a fun, hands-on way while celebrating the history of Las Vegas.

GENERAL PURPOSE: The Hydrologist I position is responsible for designing, reviewing and analyzing ground and surface water monitoring programs, and performs groundwater level and surface water discharge measurements. Operational knowledge of GPS hardware and software, ArcView and ArcInfo GIS programs is desirable.

Requires a 4 year college or university degree with major course work in earth science, hydrology, geology or related field.

Salary: $67,768- $76,239 annually, DOQ
Hours of Work: 8am ? 5pm, M-F
