This position also provides support for contributing and completing tasks assigned to the CBP regarding nutrient reduction strategies, restoration and protection initiatives, development of information and progress reports. Qualifications include comprehensive knowledge of wastewater treatment principals and unit operations; physical, chemical, and biological processes in aquatic environments (freshwater and estuarine); water pollution control techniques and programs. Demonstrated experience in contract/grant negotiations, project and budget management and administration; teamwork principles. Demonstrated ability to plan, schedule, and manage program area functions; possess excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills in a complex and technical environment; experience with personal computers, automated databases, and Microsoft Office Suite software. Degree in environmental engineering, natural and/or physical science or equivalent training/experience preferred.
