Research Scientist - Hydrology/Water Management
Candidate should have expertise in hydrology/hydrological modelling/water management as well as in managing multi-partner research projects, including liaison functions between the partner organizations involved in such projects. The successful candidate will assist the Head of the Water Research Division in developing the pressing research agenda for the Water Division. Appointment will be for a fixed term of initially four years with an option for renewal. A Ph.D. in a relevant field and at least three to five years of professional experience are essential conditions. Proficiency in spoken and written English is indispensable. Experience in generating and maintaining contacts in academic circles, as well as in obtaining support for research projects from funding organizations, will be an important advantage.
