Description:ESA's Water Group has an immediate opening for a Project Manager to provide geological, geotechnical, geophysical and hydrogeological technical expertise for water quality assessments, plans, permits and environmental impact assessments. We are looking for an experienced professional committed to team-oriented, solution-focused environmental consulting. Join us as we work on some of the most challenging and stimulating water resources projects in the West, including: aquifer storage and recovery/conjunctive use, recycled water master plans, indirect potable reuse, storm water management, wetland creation, state-of-the-art treatment facilities, and water transfers. This position is available in San Francisco, Oakland, or Petaluma office.Position requirements include: minimum 5-10 years previous environmental consulting experience conducting geologic and hydrologic analysis (required); working knowledge of CEQA, NEPA with 5-10 years experience preparing CEQA technical sections in the geosciences and hydrology; 2-5 years experience managing and providing senior technical review of environmental documents (required); working knowledge and experience with hazardous materials investigation and remediation (required); familiarity with the environmental industry in the Bay Area/Sacramento Area; and/or Southern California (preferred); previous project management experience and demonstrated ability to manage medium-sized group of technical professionals (required); and excellent written and oral communication skills. Education requirements: BS (required) and MS (preferred) in geology, hydrology, or geomorphology; California Registration as Professional Geologist/Certified Hydrgeologist/Certified Engineering Geologist (preferred).
