Water Quality Specialist (303) The successful applicant will be a senior member of a team that provides environmental impact assessment, regulatory approval/compliance, modelling, monitoring and risk assessment services for a broad range of clients. This role’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Provide mentoring and supervision for junior and intermediate staff. Participate in the continued growth and development of the water quality team in western Canada. Provide effective management of medium to large projects. Manage client development and maintenance. Execute technical work in areas of expertise. Provide senior technical review. Qualifications: 10 + years of water quality assessment experience. Experience in environmental consulting would be an asset. M.Sc. in science or engineering field or B.Sc. and equivalent experience. Strong technical skills in surface water quality modelling and analysis of water chemistry and toxicological information. Experience in capably supervising and mentoring staff in a team environment. Proven experience in managing projects and people. Experience in water quality guideline interpretation with strong writing skills.
