Water Quality Specialist (303)

The successful applicant will be a senior member of a team that provides environmental impact assessment, regulatory approval/compliance, modelling, monitoring and risk assessment services for a broad range of clients.

This role’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 Provide mentoring and supervision for junior and intermediate staff.
 Participate in the continued growth and development of the water quality team in western Canada.
 Provide effective management of medium to large projects.
 Manage client development and maintenance.
 Execute technical work in areas of expertise.
 Provide senior technical review.

Qualifications:

 10 + years of water quality assessment experience.
 Experience in environmental consulting would be an asset.
 M.Sc. in science or engineering field or B.Sc. and equivalent experience.
 Strong technical skills in surface water quality modelling and analysis of water chemistry and toxicological information.
 Experience in capably supervising and mentoring staff in a team environment.
 Proven experience in managing projects and people.
 Experience in water quality guideline interpretation with strong writing skills.
