We are a nationally known, reputable and stable company with a strong reputation in many types of water resources and recycling projects.


Currently we have an immediate opening for a Senior Project Manager specializing in water resources planning, including planning projects focusing on water recycling and conjunctive use.

Under the direction of the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing your own projects.
You will also have a leadership role in growing our Southern California water resources planning practice, working closely with Principals of the firm; will involve contribution to business development through identification of leads and active participation in on-going marketing pursuits.


Location:

Southern California office, preferably San Diego


Qualifications:

BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering; MS in Engineering or related field preferred
A minimum of 10 to 15 years of experience

Excellent organizational, writing, presentation and interpersonal skills.
Ability to direct and manage the work of other technical staff within a team environment.

The position is focused on project delivery, but a demonstrated ability to manage clients and team members, and lead business development activities is highly desirable.


You are the ideal candidate if you have:



A desire to prove your engineering and management skills quickly so that you can rapidly advance in one of the most respected firms in the world
The experience must be in water and/or wastewater engineering planning, design, specifications writing, estimating, and permitting. (California experience is preferred, but other experience will be considered.)
Project Management opportunity based on qualifications.
Comfort and experience in dealing with multidisciplinary teams. Experience dealing with public agencies for reviews and approvals.
California registration as a professional engineer
